This bright, quiet, comfortable studio is available for vacation or short-term rental. It is located on private property, in a residential neighbourhood, on Vancouver Island, BC Canada, right on the beach.
The studio is unique in that it shares a roof with the main house, but is a separate unit with private entrance. It has a new washroom with shower, a pantry with fridge, counter and sink, that is very well equipped for warming up or preparing light meals.
Stocked with dishes, extra towels and linen, the unit is self-catering. Some basic food-stuffs, such as snacks and condiments, and the first day's Continental Breakfast are on us!
Cable TV, with DVD/CD player, and wireless high-speed Internet access are included. As is a dedicated phone for local calling. Ask us about the use of the BBQ.
The space is suitable for one or two responsible adults, sharing a queen sized bed. There is a brand new deck, a large yard and even larger beach that we'll share with you.
Plenty of space for parking, enough to accommodate a camper truck.
At low tide, you can spend hours on the sand, wading the tide pools, discovering an abundance of shells and sea life. Purple or orange starfish and sand dollars abound.
From day to day, the beach and the ocean are never the same. There is a zoo out there to observe, winged and four-legged creatures, such as eagles or deer.
We live in Kye Bay, a small waterfront community located in the bay below the Canadian Forces air field, five minutes from the Airport.
If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet vacation in complete privacy, this is the perfect place.
If you are a commuter, coming to the Comox Valley for business on a regular basis and want the freedom to step outside for a walk on the beach after work, this is for you.
There is no public transportation, you'll need a car.
